Social
I found out today that our school is having a social event tomorrow. I told my friend and we both agreed that we didn't want to go there even though we have to. They take 5-10 minutes of each period of the day to have us go to this at the end of the day. It's basically a dance during school with games. We didn't want to socialize because we don't want to talk to people. We also didn't want to dance. So, we didn't want to go. But then we found out that there is going to be food there and we decided that it will be OK to go. This is the first year they are doing this. They are apparently doing this because we don't have any dances. So by not having dances that we can choose to go to, they are making us go to this one. Well, wish me luck, I'll update you on all the crazy things that go on tomorrow.

School
I am an aide for an E.L.A. teacher and I grade a lot of the work the students do. I grade things both online and on paper. But I love it when there are 4's all in a row. It gives you this feeling like, "cool this kid is great at doing work. I expect them to do great each time" Sometimes I don't have anything to do so she lets me play games on the computer or do homework.
My first period is french and I have learned a lot from it. I could have taken Spanish but I thought that French would be more interesting and maybe more challenging than Spanish. So many people know Spanish in the U.S. that I wanted to learn something most or just a lot of people didn't know.
My second period is P.E. and (Not to be that person but..) Oh My Gosh! The guys in that class kind of bug me! We are doing our Football unit and it seems like the guys think girls can't catch a ball and run. I mean some people can't catch (ME) but we just want to have fun and try. I have only got thrown the ball once. All the time I am open with no one around me for a few yards and the quarterback decides to throw the ball to the guy who is in the middle of all the people in the game.😒
My third period is Earth science and I have some popular kids and that class. I just to kind of avoid them.
My fourth period is E.L.A.. I love the teacher but I wish we would move faster. I'm in an honors class and I aide for a normal E.L.A. class and they move way fast than us. I have learned more aiding for that class than I do in my class. Sometimes that's a good thing for me, but sometime that's not.
My 5th period is Geography. I can tell you that I am hands down HORRIBLE at geography. I didn't even learn anything about geography until now and i'm in 9th grade! Well, at least I'm leaning. I feel way behind from the others but i'll be fine.
My 6th period is Secondary math 1H. The only thing I have to say about that class is, I love math and I like my teacher too, but she talks way too fast that sometimes I can't understand her.
I try as hard as I can in school but sometimes it's hard. If you ever need a way to get away from all that stress, here is an idea. (This is what I do): Take a shower then get into PJ's no matter what time it is. Then just sit in my room either listening to music, watching T.V. or reading a book. Anyway, just be you and be happy!

Friday 😂
You know those weird friends that you can't explain why they did something? Well, that is all of my friends and I love how weird they are. Today, a Friday, I got to sleep in before going to school. Friday is honestly the best day of the week because you actually get to sleep in before you go to school. As usual, I got ready when I needed to and headed off to school. Me and my younger sister that's in 7th grade comes with me to the 9th grade pod. My school is set up so each pod is a grade. 7th grade classes in the 7th grade pod, and so on. So we walk up to the 9th grade pod and then my sister goes to find her friends.
All of my friends hug and say hello to each other like usual. Then one of my friends turns to me and says,"I sat in the sink." Yup. I just look at her confused and she explained. "I was just in the girls bathroom and I laid in the sinks. I put my head in one sink, my feet in one sink until I laid across 3 sinks." She said. "Why?" I wondered but I didn't ask her.
A little while later I said, "Do you wanna go lay in the sinks again?" because I am one of those weird friends too. She agreed and we ran to to pod bathroom. She laid in three sinks and I sat with my feet up in a different sink for no reason. Then we ran back out into the pod area. By then I realized how loud we were talking and everyone was staring at us like we were crazy. But we just started to laugh. Then the minute bell went off and we went to class. Well, that's how my morning went. What's the weirdest morning experience you have had? By the way, from now on I going to make a stupid excuse to put a meme on here!

Take 3!
This is the first year that my grades count for college and high school credit. My goal is to get all A's but it's harder than I though it was. My grades are really good right now but I used to have all A's and one B+ and the bugged me so much. So, as the good student that I am, I went after school to retake it.
Well, that didn't work. I was 1 question away from getting a 3 and moving to the 4 part of the test. So I had to retake it again. In T.A. I went to his class to retake the geology test again and went to work. When I was done I got a 4! I was so happy. Then I looked around at the other kids (it's just a habit of mine to see who passed and who didn't) and I saw that only two or three of them passed to get a paper for the 4 part.
That made me think. If I didn't study, I probably would have ended up having to retake it again. So, a lesson to be learned, study when you can and make sure you know what your studying. Now here is a meme because I wanted to.

4ocean
4ocean is an amazing website. They stared in 2017 and are still going strong. This website talks about the ocean and how to take care of it. If you want to help take care of these oceans they have you buy a bracelet. They have a new bracelet each month. If you buy a bracelet then they'll take out one pound of trash from the ocean and Phil use the money to also help clean the ocean. These bracelets are super cute and I love each design of them.
They are made from plastic from the ocean, the beads are made from recycled glass and the string is made from recycled water bottles. Each bracelet is worth $20. And every month their bracelet represents a different thing in the ocean. This month (July 2019) they are helping whale sharks.
Last month it was sea turtles. If you go to the website then they'll talk about more information about it if you're interested in buying a bracelet from them here is the website- https://4ocean.com
Here is a picture of this months bracelet.(July 2019)

Kayaking
For about two hours, I went kayaking with my family. I'm afraid of lake water and ocean water, but I went to conquer my fear. I'm still afraid, but now I'm less afraid now that I went kayaking
It was so quiet that it felt like we were alone. We had some races and bumped into things along the way. I have a lot of fears and part of my journey in life is to conquer those fears so I can do anything and have a great time.
I want to swim with sharks, paraglide, touch a spider, not be afraid of clowns and much much more so I can enjoy life the way it's suppose to be enjoyed. So I encourage you to get rid of your fears so you can be the best you, you can be

Dead Horse Point
I traveled up to dead horse point with my family to go camping for four days. One day we visit Arches National Park. My family and I went on some hikes like, Delicate Arch, some smaller arches and so on.
While we were waiting for my older siblings to get down from Delicate Arch, my stepdad saw a worried lady talking to a park ranger. My stepdad walked over and asked what the problem was and if there was anyway he could help. The lady said that they were c omming down Delicate Arch and had no water. She also explained that their tour bus left without them and they were stuck there for about three hours already.
So my stepdad told them they could have the water he brought since he had a huge bucket of water with a tap on it. She asked if she could bring some kids over too, and he said yes.
Before he knew it, there was a line of like 60 kids and a few adults. It looked like they had everything in order but my stepdad was worried he didn't have enough water.
The adults had a Coca-Cola and were trying to hide it from the kids. All the kids look like they were between the ages of 10 to 15. They each got some water and my stepdad ran out to get more water for them. One person tried to pay my stepdad, but he refused, he was just truing to help.
When he returned their bus was here. A lady was talking to the park ranger and then spotted my mom. She ran up to her and gave her a hug and thanked her. They all got on their bus and left.
Another day we went to canyonlands and visited some places there. My mom was worried if we got to close we would fall off the edge. Even though I'm deathly afraid of heights, I went to the edge to see this view and you wouldn't believe how beautiful canyonlands was!
Overall I had a great time, besides the heat that gave me a sunburn. The views were amazing and we had a little place near our camp that I went to be alone in the wild. We went on hikes and enjoyed our time there!

Scars
Now I'm not talking about scars on your body, not emotional scars either. I'm talking about scars that country's take, that nations take. Wars. Wars on health, on food and homes. Not just these, but also wars like the Civil war and WWII. These are important to our history's scars, good and bad. These are wars that not only hurt us but help us along to become the nation we are today. Money problems helped us get more money and jobs to solve that problem. The Civil war, after a while, helped us free slaves and become the one nation we are today. Some scars don't have to be bad, there are quite a few that are good. Some examples being, the Declaration of Independence, the military power, education, improving Public Health, transportation, and so much more. Why is this important exactly? Well, without these scars, what would we be? Would we even have a good government, proper health, good clothes, money, and other advantages? Or would we be in a pit in the ground where other countries would look at us like we are crazy? We would probably have a 'fire' set on our nation that would tell others we are too under minded that we couldn't make this nation become one. If the South would have split off the United States in the Civil War, what type of nation would they be today? Would they have reconnected with us, would they be our allies or enemies? If any of these scars were to change, the world would be a completely different place today. You might as well turn the world upside down, if so. For this reason, and many more, the world is how it is today because of these scars on the world. So whatever you do next, big or small, think about it first because that might impact the nation even if it is after we die. This is why scars are important to learn and to fix.

A Trip to A Lake
I walked around a lake yesterday with my family, it was a beautiful view. I love spring time and i'm so excited to go on hikes, walks, camping and more over the summer and spring! Here are some pictures of my time over there.
Here is a duck that I found standing on a rock, but at first, I though he was standing on the weeds in the water.
This one, you can see the ripples in the water as it fades out, which is one of my favorite things about water pictures.

These ones are some of my favorite because you can see the mountains, the water ripples, and the sand all in this picture.
Here is another bridge I crossed over through the lake.

I saved my favorite for last. I love the mini beach house going to the sand, and leading out to the water. Overall, this was an amazing view to see and I loved all the picture I took, but these only are my favorite! If you want to see all of the pictures I took, click on the link below.
